The WASOON 2018 Conference will be hosted by:

 This is a bi-ennial weekend conference hosted by local northern weaving guilds in North Bay, Bracebridge, Huntsville, Kapuskasing, Sault Ste. Marie, Elliot Lake, Sudbury, and Timmins. In 2018 the Porcupine Handweavers and Spinners of Timmins will be hosting WASOON 2018 on Friday May 11th at 5:00 p.m. to Sunday May 13th at 1:30 p.m. Workshops will be held at École secondaire catholique Thériault in Timmins.

  The WASOON conference will open Friday evening with a reception at the Timmins Museum NEC and an exhibition by the PHS guild. The Saturday evening banquet, featuring Deborah Livingston-Lowe as keynote speaker will be held at the Senator Hotel. 

  A GOOD TIME TO RESTOCK. The WASOON conference is your opportunity to restock that stash. Check out our vendors marketplace, either before, between, or after workshops. You will find many items to satisfy your needs on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.
